University of Southern California, Institute for Creative Technologies

The USC Institute for Creative Technologies is dedicated to developing simulation environments for military training and education. When USC decided to relocate ICT to a brand new LEED certified building, they worked with Spinitar to implement state of the art technology that was extremely functional for the end user and could provide a migration path for future growth and scalability.

The screening room is a 135 seat theater used for conferences, presentations, meetings and tours. It features a Christie 10,000 lumen High Definition DLP Projector that projects onto a perforated Stewart projection screen with QSC speakers installed behind. The hallway between the two theaters feature eight 60” Sharp HD displays in portrait mode.

The Events room for large meeting and training sessions is equipped with two 5,000 lumen ceiling mounted Mitsubishi projectors that project onto motorized Da-Lite projection screens. The Conference Room is a mid-sized space with two  60” sharp displays, both on Chief articulating mounts.  All areas are controlled through AMX Touch Panels.
